The Foundation provides grants to nonprofit organizations and qualifying government entities such as schools and libraries in Big Sky and the Greater Gallatin Valley. Funds are available to support nonprofit programs and capacity building. No loans or grants to individuals will be made.

Big Sky Thrift extends its philanthropic reach by offering grants to nonprofit organizations and eligible government entities, including schools and libraries, that serve the vibrant Big Sky community. These funds are specifically designated to bolster capital items. Please note that we do not provide financial assistance in the form of loans or grants to individuals.

Big Sky Thrift is accepting applications seeking capital funding in the range of $2,500-$75,000.

Organizations seeking a grant must be prepared to present their proposals either in person or through a virtual presentation on Tuesday, June 18th as part of the grant application process.

Organizations that received grant funding from Big Sky Thrift in the Fall are not eligible for a spring grant.

Organizations that have received grant funding from YCCF may still be eligible to apply for a Big Sky Thrift grant.

YCCF is proud to sponsor events and causes for organizations located within or providing services that support the greater Big Sky community. The Foundation considers sponsorship requests on a monthly basis, so please allow at least three months processing time for your sponsorship request.
