The Darren Johnson Avalanche Education Memorial Fund is committed to supporting patrollers who seek to further their education. This scholarship aims to alleviate the costs associated with continuing education courses. Finalists selected for the scholarship will be required to participate in a brief Zoom interview with the committee to discuss their passion for the industry and how the course will benefit them both professionally and personally. Applications are open for the 2025/2026 season, with awards distributed in fall 2025.
