The Foundation provides grants to nonprofit organizations and qualifying government entities such as schools and libraries in Big Sky and the Greater Gallatin Valley. Funds are available to support nonprofit programs and capacity building. No loans or grants to individuals will be made.

The Yellowstone Club Community Foundation welcomes Letters of Interest (LOI) from organizations that are interested in applying for Catalyst Grant funding from the Foundation. On occasion, an LOI submission may result in an invitation to one of the Foundation’s other grants.

Catalyst Grants support new nonprofits with organizational development or the building out of a specific program. Catalyst Grants also support existing nonprofit organizations to launch new mission-focused projects, or to reorganize some element of the organization to support its resiliency and effectiveness. Catalyst Grants are grants up to $10,000.

Please see the Grant Guidelines and FAQ on our website for more details about all Community Grants.

The LOI helps us determine whether organizations and proposed projects are eligible for Foundation grant funding. They also help staff direct invitations to selected eligible organizations to apply for one of the four Community Grants that best meets proposal objectives and Foundation funding goals. Further, an LOI process allows us to hear about new ideas and meet new partners!

YCCF is proud to sponsor events and causes for organizations located within or providing services that support the greater Big Sky community. The Foundation considers sponsorship requests on a monthly basis, so please allow at least three months processing time for your sponsorship request.
